What's the rarest type of blood?

It’s the one *you need* and the hospital doesn’t have when an emergency dictates otherwise, said Babara Rogers at Monday’s common council meeting in Niagara Falls.

As Memorial Hospital, Niagara Falls High School and City Hall are the largest employers in the city, she said, it was up to her to encourage the city council, mayor as well as department heads and their employees to spend an hour and donate blood during the most important season of the year.

The blood drive will take place 1 to 6 p.m. July 26th at John Duke senior center, 1201 Hyde Park Blvd.
